I made a huge decision this weekend. I decided to purchase a home. I have been looking for a townhome for about a year and a half now. I mostly kept myself to townhomes because it fit my lifestyle as well as my budget. I didn't think I would be able to find something that would fit my budget and be a single family home. So, I heard of the opening of a new area in Daybreak and decided to check it out.I walked in and found that this single family home had everything I was looking for; a large tub in the master bath, an open living room that flowed into the kitchen, and a huge room in the basement I could use as a studio to name a few. I didn't wait long before talking with the sales rep and handing him a deposit. That was tough to do and I've been sick with nervousness ever since.
It's an Ivory Home located in a new community called Daybreak in South Jordan, Utah. The floorplan is called Alden European. I liked the sloped roof and the vaulted ceilings on the main floor. I think this will be enough room for me with plenty of room to finish myself in the basement.
This is certainly the most expensive thing I have purchased, I just hope all goes well and I don't experience anything that has happened in the housing industry this past year.
